Our lab hosts many international students and is actively engaged in international exchanges. It's a place where research discussions are part of daily life, creating a passionate and dynamic atmosphere. Japanese students are also accustomed to communicating in English. This makes our lab one of the rare environments where you can focus on your research without being hindered by language barriers. If you’re passionate about research and aspire to succeed on the global stage, this is the ideal place for you. Please come and visit us! 【M2 student】

There are no fixed core hours, so we have the freedom to manage our research based on our own schedules. Our lab is also highly active in presenting at both domestic and international conferences and publishing academic papers, with numerous awards being won each year. Even undergraduate students have the opportunity to make contributions. Additionally, one of the unique attractions of our lab is the chance to work with cutting-edge equipment (worth as much as several supercars) right from your first year. Please consider joining us! 【M2 student】

In our Lab, there are many fabrication machines available to help you realize your ideas! Whether working with metal or non-metal materials, you can experiment with various machining methods, engaging in trial and error as you go. Through exploring the question "Why did this happen?" you’ll come to appreciate the deep intricacies of the machining process itself. If you love creating things, this is the perfect place for you! 【M1 student】

Our lab is incredibly well-equipped! We have 2 student rooms, 3 laboratories, and even a dedicated measurement room for specific experiments. With plenty of experimental equipment available, you can conduct experiments whenever you want. I highly encourage you to visit and see our cutting-edge research facilities for yourself! 【M1 student】

We generally use English for communication with international students. Furthermore, students at the master's level and above are expected to deliver all seminar presentations in English. Of course, presentations at international conferences will be in English as well.

Seminars are held once a week, and in addition, there are weekly meetings for each research theme group. Other than that, attendance is flexible; however, many individuals visit their offices at least three times a week.

The seminars and group meetings will decrease to about once every two weeks.

When you have questions or difficulties regarding the core aspects of your research, you can consult with them, and they will respond promptly. In addition, there is a monthly individual meeting, but if you want to consult at other times, you can do so as long as you make an appointment. You can also receive feedback and presentation practice, along with meaningful advice.
